Sun-Room Insulated Conservatory Ceilings

A conservatory makes a wonderful addition to the home, and allows you to enjoy the outdoors while staying indoors. But the standard polycarbonate or glass roof means that they are either too hot and bright in the summer or too cold in the winter to enable every-day use. Sun-Room has come up with an efficient and cost-effective solution. We will install a fully insulated paneled ceiling inside your existing conservatory, which will significantly reduce these seasonal temperature fluctuations. Then you can make the most of your “Sun-Room” whenever you like.

About our insulation

The insulation product we use to line your conservatory ceiling is the first specially designed multi-layered reflective insulation system with all surfaces thermally welded together. Our innovative insulation product boasts dual functionality, helping to balance out your conservatory’s extreme temperatures.

It will insulate your conservatory during the winter by preventing the heat from escaping and keep it cool in the summertime by reflecting the sun rays away from your conservatory. It will make your conservatory a comfortable place to relax, whether you are socialising with the family or having peaceful alone time.

Our insulated conservatory ceiling consists of seven successive layers. Two outer layers of polished and anti-oxidation treated pure aluminium, separated by two honeycombed layers of air bubbles enclosed inside a polyethylene film, together with two extra layers of pure aluminium foil and polyethylene foam.

About our cladding

Sun-Room uses a tongue and groove hollow uPVC cladding which along with our insulation will significantly reduce the impact of seasonal temperature fluctuations. With the help of Sun-Room, you will be able to make the most of your ‘sun-room” and use it whenever you like. Best thing of all for some of our clients is that the ceiling is virtually maintenance free – no painting or repairs only a quick wipe down maybe once a year.
